Madden 20 wont launch, just a black screen & crashes back to the origin menu. tried everything from clean boot , uninstalling & reinstalling Madden 20, restoring the previous windows update.
started playing again after downloading the update.
Been a problem there avoiding it apparently. Hopefully a patch comes soon.

I am trying to play Madden 20 on my PC for the first time. Whenever I try to run the game it opens in either windowed or borderless windowed mode and opens to a black screen. The game will sit at the black screen indefinitely. I have tried to set the settings for the game to fullscreen through my NVidia Geforce Experience program but it looks like the game never creates a settings file, so the program has nothing to reference or change. Any assistance to get this running would be appreciated
Every Time i launch Madden it just shows up with a black screen, i cant even make it full screen, my curser just vanishes i cant click anything. It crashes within 20 seconds of the launch. its been like this since ive gottnen the game which was on Friday Night (November 22nd) i HAVE tried multiple suggested solutions, none of them have helped at all. Repaired it multiple times. Nothing. Orgin is up and running well, if you have any solutions please let me know. very frustrating. Feeling like it was a waste of money. Help me fix this annoying problem please. Any suggestions will be appreciated @EA_Barry
im having the same problem again. just have the wait for an update to fix it. the update probably wont happen till after the holidays. same thing happen last year around this time. its like clockwork over there at EA for Madden on PC

- Open the nvidia Control Panel
- Click Manage 3D settings
- Click the Program Settings tab
- Click the Add button
- Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Madden NFL 20\Madden20.exe
- Select Madden20.exe and then Open
- Customise individual settings if you like
- Exit nvidia control panel, make sure your display is connected to your GPU (not the motherboard) and try playing.

I'm having the same problem. I tried your fix but it still doesn't run. I paid $60 for this game the other day and now I cant run it!
