I don’t have internet access and bought the game believing I could play offline because it doesn’t say anywhere on the case that internet is required. I get home pop the disc in and all I get is please try again with the code 0x8b050066. Please help. I’ve tried everything I know.

You should do all you can to avoid solution 4 though.
Hey obey I don't even know if you are going to read this but I want to know if you resolved the issue because I am having the same problem I also don't have internet and I got the game and it shows me that error code. If you did resolve it please tell me because I really don't want to return the game

Did you try the steps @EA_Barry linked?
It's possible you may need to update your Xbox software to the latest version which requires an internet connection. If the Xbox isn't updated to the latest version, some game titles may not be readable due to software updates.
