After I finish story It deletes from face of franchise, takes me back to create character and start over. As soon as I switch to classic mode. When I open the franchise mode all of my characters from face of franchise are there. When I try to click on that franchise character it tells me I need a subscription to play.
Do you have an external hard drive hooked up to your console? Are you on Xbox One or PlayStation 5?

Play station five, no external hard drive, no external anything. So yes I am able to start a franchise and play off-line but it’s the character that I brought through the story mode of face of franchise that I want to continue the career of. And that saved player has a cloud in the upper right hand corner in the franchise save menu. Can I switch that? Or do I have to start a new league?

If you're not able to access the play you want to play with right now I don't see any problem attempting to play the cloud save version of it. - 5 years ago
The cloud save version requires a subscription.

Thank you for your patience. I sent this over to the team to verify whether this is a bug or working by design. I'll update the thread when I find out more. - 5 years ago
I have gone now through 3 different players and every time i shut down the console it deletes the progress. I havent even made it through a single season yet and this keeps deleting it. Coming from the older versions on my xbox 360, this is very frustrating. Seriously, how hard is it to just make the game saveable to the console? There has to be an easier way to keep this from happening. I dont want to sound like the old guy and be like "back in the day" but this is very frustrating and makes me want to return my game to the store since i bought a hard copy disk. Yall need to get this fixed ASAP

Hey there.
I really want to help you out with that, sounds extremely disappointing when you've gone through that many career saves.
I take it you're shutting down the console after a save is done in progress, otherwise that can cause the file to get corrupted.
Do you happen to be using an external hard drive for your console?
Do you have multiple save points for each Franchise? I tend to manually save a fresh file throughout my Franchise and alternate which save file to save the latest progress to. That way if worse case scenario happens and it gets corrupted, I can always go to the save file that is only a week behind. This is a habit I've done all my life going back to Half Life 2 when I got put in a bad spot causing me to start all over. :\
