@EA_BlueberryI like the idea of this promo. but I would like to highlight that the timeframes (i.e. Wednesday, April 7th from 7-9PM ET; and Friday, April 9th from 9-11PM ET) are anything but friendly towards players from other countries/continents. I know the main market for the game is most likely the US, but after the game is sold worldwide, this is clear discrimination. I would be very pleased if players from Europe, Asia, Africa or Australia had the same opportunities (in particular since these players most likely face some other disadvantages too: e.g. bad latency in H2H games, etc.).
7-9pm means 1-3am here in germany. almost impossible on a working day...

Feedback will be shared to the team. We understand there will be regions that will time frames where it can be more inconvenient to login due to a work/school day. It's a difficult decision when they understand some players will have to login during the early hours to take advantage of this promotion. To give you insight, these are not times they randomly select but are calculated based off internal data to ensure it's a time friendly to the most amount of players as possible. We've seen this type of feedback before in the past for may of our games and we do our best to cater to the community with multiple opportunities to participate which is one reason there are two different days to login.- EA_Blueberry5 years ago

I waited up so I could log into madden at the required times, and now i've received nothing to open.
I am a little dissappointed both with the scheduling and the clarity on this. Is this just a "you need to have been online at any point" situation? I won't be waiting around for the entire time, so I hope that's not the requirement. When do players actually get to access the GT pack? I feel like these are questions that could have been anticipated.

This is an absurd answer. If you've had complaints about this for years, why havent you implemented at least one time that is reasonable for foreign countries? If there's multiple opportunities, why can't ONE of those time slots not be catered to North American time zones?

I'd guess that it is not the best solution to define short time windows in which everything is decided. Why not take a whole day? The result could also be announced afterwards, so that those who register last because of their time zone are not disadvantaged.
