Madden 21 Online Franchise Freezes After Draft Day Trade

I am actually having a similar issue in my online league. I traded up for the first pick to try and draft a QB for my team. I traded during free agency before the draft, now whenever I hit “Make your selection” my game crashes and freezes. It made our league unplayable

I've seen quite a few people saying they have had this issue since the last update. You can do the solution I mentioned above and hope the computer doesn't draft your guy.

For ours, if they did, I had agreed with other league members that I'd pick that teams top need and then we would force a one for one trade by making the player I wanted really bad, completing the trade, and then putting his ratings back to what they were supposed to be. Luckily it didn't come to that. 

It happened to my online franchise too when I had the first pick. Another user team drafted at #2 so we swapped and it worked. The trade offer shows up as “pick zero” for “pick one” so thats probably where the crash comes in.

Glad to have seen this post before we just simmed the draft.

Summarize your bug We are in a league where we have 32 users and do franchise mode when it’s the users time to pick a player in the draft the game freezes and kicks the player out. This only happens to the player that is next to draft. We are heading to year two and trying to fix this issue where a user can’t pick and player in draft. How can we fix this ? Is there a bug ?
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? How can we fix this issue ?
What happens when the bug occurs? It automatically kicks the user out that is next in draft so others can log in but when it’s that persons turn it won’t let me get in and pick a player .
What do you expect to see? To allow us to draft
