Madden 22 Kicking / Def. Rushing

Couple things have been frustrating the hell out of me the last couple weeks:

1. During kicking (kickoff, punt, field goal/PAT) - When I press to set the power it's fine. But when the meter comes back down to set the accuracy (black area), the kick power drops to about halfway. This will not go away regardless of what I do. Close/restart game, change controllers, uninstall/re-install, etc. Is there a fix for this?

2. When rushing the QB, I lose control of the lineman/linebacker after shedding the block. Player just keeps running forward regardless of me pressing Sprint or not and does a hit stick move, not even letting me turn the corner. What is this?

    Hey there,

    Which platform do you play on? When I've seen stuff like this it's usually related to something plugged into the PC or console that's conflicting with the game controller.

    I’m having the same issue regarding the kicking meter.

    I play on Xbox series X.

    Yea I have to correct position player as my kicker. It’s just the kicking meter resets itself to about 25% kicking power before I kick

    Okay, just making sure it's nothing else because some controllers, external hard drives, and other devices can create strange bugs in game.

    Can you let me know if this helps fix it for you?

    Reboot the power to the modem/router

    1. Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.

    How to power cycle your Xbox console:

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    1. Plug the console power cable back in.
    2. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    Clear Mac Address

    1. Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.

    I followed all the steps but the issue is still occurring.

    @cresalex95 

    So what modes is this happening for and do you experience it for all teams if you're playing regular exhibition games?
