Madden 22 PS5/XB1 franchise freezing and not saving when Developing Player

    Advance the week without playing the game. 

    Click on the chemistry storyline and it will freeze.  Close your app and restart it. 

    After that it will go through the story line cut scenes and after that finishes go to upgrade a player, if you have that option.  If not, go to edit someone on your roster and the game should freeze again.  

    Restart your game again and the game should be good to go.  

    This just worked for me.

Summarize your bug Unable to add last progression point, after leveling up any player position. I have started several different franchises and deleted them. Each time you level a player up, this happens. Along with the game freezing when attempting to level a position up to Superstar X Factor.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Check the coding to verify what is causing the hangup. Actually responds to the reports of other users whom have posted about this problem months ago. I am expecting a response as you have my information through login on this site along with my tag. One give away that a bug is going on, before the kickoff when it is showing both end zones, one of the - typically the one on the left side - is highlighted gold or yellow. That’s when I know something is wrong.
What happens when the bug occurs? After playing the game which would level up the player from Superstar to Superstar X-Factor, it disconnects, lags, freezes. The madden graphics/screen which appears after you finish a match recycles constantly to no end. At one point I let it run to see if it would auto resolve. Unfortunately, it did not. This problem is occurring here and with my cloud franchise with other users named NUKM.
What do you expect to see? I expect an immediate resolve. I stopped playing madden and am back into it, refereed people to purchase this game and many are experiencing this error.

    I am in a completely different franchise with other users and am still experiencing this darn freezing glitch. The quarterback is invisible, I am forced to play against myself. Win or lose, it does nothing. If I change the uniform I am allowed to play against my scheduled opponent. However, once the game is finished it is stuck at the loading screen and does not register that I just played the game. After turning the console off or either exiting the game, it restarts me at the cut scene where the quarterback is invisible. The commissioner has to force the week through for me to get passed it and I lose the dev trait opportunity. I’m the only one who has experienced it in the new franchise that we restarted because it happens too frequently in the prior one. I need someone to contact me for an immediate resolution.
