can we please have an estimated date of some sort? we have all been patient enough. i personally have been waiting 8 days since my ultimate team has worked and some have been waiting for longer. are we gonna have to wait another week? months? or is it going to be resolved today? tomorrow?
All I can tell you is that we're working to resolve this as soon as possible.

even after a game update and ultimate team (the mode we are all complaining about) being locked, i still have no access to my madden ultimate team. this is INSANE how tomorrow will be my ninth day. i was lied to and told Friday it would take 72 hours, and we have gotten no real answers. where is the communication with the community as well as the bare minimum of respect for the people who play your game. @EA_Aljo

obviously this isn’t going to be fixed. you are not a multi billion dollar company, with loads of money and means of fixing issues, and just leave issues that people are complaining about in the game for over a week. my best guess is they have no clue what they did wrong, or honestly they may have not even looked because we all know its a simple fix on their end

If it were a simple fix, it would have been resolved by now. I definitely get the frustration, but this isn't the easy fix everyone thinks. We want you all back in the game as soon as possible and are doing all we can to make that happen.
- zigs443 years agoNew Traveler@EA_Aljo Man I appreciate the stuff you go through to give us updates, but we need some official statement from EA. There's hundreds of people here with this problem and its been 2 weeks since the trial started.
I still cannot sign in to play MUT, Face of the Franchise, the Yard, and online Franchise. I am in northeast US, Xbox Series X, wired connection with Xfinity, and I have tried all available remedies for the issue and none have worked so far.

The greed from this company will not give refunds. They will claim you need to talk to the retailer. The retailer has a two hour gameplay limit for a refund. I've easily spent double that time trying to fix this issue. It's not fair. They basically took our money and ran with it.
- 3 years ago@EA_Aljo Are you able to confirm the hotspot temporary fix actually works? If so, would you be able to provide, in this thread, a step-by-step process of how to do this? I think that'd be a reasonable thing to get while EA works on this fix. I still haven't been able to play online at all. But I'm willing to try any temporary fix to make it work.
Also, is there a way, within my account, to link my PS5 to my EA account? That, for me anyways, seems to be the root of the issue. - EA_Aljo3 years ago

im on pc and i am experiencing an issue with madden 23 not connecting to the ea servers even though im connected just fine to my wifi. Any suggestions or answers?

it is ridiculous how there can be this many people complaining about the game and they are on twitch talking about new card releases but won’t talk about fixing the game and getting people in. they promise a time those new cards will drop oh yea but won’t give us a time we can get in

@Pantidropper6969Issue is there's only a few dozen or maybe hundred of us with the login problem out of the millions who bought the game and are able to actually play. I'm sure they're working on it but the team is focused on the majority who can play and spend more.

Guys, I just got off the phone with EA and was able to connect. I may have a different issue, however.
I realized my account was NOT linked to my PS5. Basically, I needed to give the EA rep permission to deactivate my account and reactivate it (I guess?). From there, I was able to successfully link my account to my PS5.
Not sure if that helps anyone or not, but definitely make sure your account is linked to whatever console you're trying to play on. That was the root of the issue for me. Hope that helps guys.

And since when is it okay to release a game that is broken? If it's not a simple fix, then REFUND those of us that cannot play the game.
- zigs443 years agoNew Traveler@BruceWayneSwag30 I know my account is linked as every other EA/EA Sports game I have works and connects for me fine. Appreciate the suggestion though, could be worth a shot!

hey so i personally can confirm that this works i do it every time i open the game and so far its worked all you have to do is open the game and if you get the normal error then go to your network settings and connect to your phone hot spot. then what you wan to do is try to reconnect it should work in the first three tries if it doesn't reset your game and you should be able connect and then once you do that open mut or an online game mode then you wan to reconnect to your main Wi-Fi then it will disconnect you and when that happens if you press sign into ea it should say the normal error message and if you try one more time it should connect you.
it sounds like a lengthy process but it takes at most like 5 minutes
I haven't tried it on Play Station though i play on PC so i hope it works across all platforms

Hey!! My husband has been trying to get online since the game came out. What just worked for him is making a new profile on his PS5. When he signed into Madden it tells him that this profile is not linked to EA. He put in his EA information and it worked. I hope this helps
