Madden 23 Controller issue on PC

does anyone know how to fix the controller issue, it reads my controller but for some reason the buttons are all reading wrong during game and on the main menu, im using an xbox controller usb connected, its reading my B button as a A button and during game Right Trigger for sprinting makes them celebrate instead, my screen also doesnt stay on its controller buttons it switches between PC buttons and the Controller

    I found a "fix" that is working for me. For all of you that have madden 23 on origin/EA play or the windows xbox-app, just complete shut down steam and start madden 23 without running steam in the background. this controller bug is caused by steam. i hope this "fix" is helping some of you guys.

    I would either download the new firmware update with the Xbox Accessories App or if its already updated then you would need to revert the update

    @ventibuddha It's like it for every madden ive tried. I feel it will never get fixed because they don't care about madden on pc since it makes them no money off ultimate team.

    Any solution to this yet? Kinda makes the game unplayable. I never had this problem in madden 22 either and was just playing it a few days ago, same controller and setup

    But I don’t have steam open and for me it’s like my controller works fine. It just feels like it detects another input and on certain menues the controller doesn’t work right. Madden 22 pc

    i am having the same issue, unable to sprint. HB automatically fumbles.

    have tried - wired controller, kb/m receivers unplung, steam shut down still same issue

    using Xbox elite controller 

    DX file attached

    this is intermitten issue, some run plays HB runs fine no issues, (just managed 4 run plays in a row and a TD without a fumble, as soon as i get the ball back from punt, HB fumbles automatically) game is currently unplayable due to glitch
