Madden 23 crashes to dashboard when inviting to Online Franchise game GT related

This started happening yesterday after the server maintenance. I was playing fine before this. 

When receiving an invite from another user in Online Franchise, if I accept it I will get the message that the game session is no longer available. 

If I try sending the invite myself, about a second after pressing the play game button, the entire game crashes back to the Xbox dashboard. 

I can play nperfectlyb fine under other gamertags. This only happens under my main tag.

I've tried

hard resetting

Factory resetting

Clearing saved data

Madden 23 for XSX.
