Summarize your bug When opening the game on PC, either using EA's app or Steam, the game will open as normal until you press a button to get into the game. When the loading bar pops up, it goes until about where it says "Breaking the Huddle" and then pauses and then crashes. Every now and then, I can luck into the game getting past that loading bar, but immediately am hit with a message saying that I can't connect to EA's servers and then the game crashes a few seconds later.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the game on PC.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game crashes and closes the screen.
What do you expect to see? The main menu as it normally would open.

Sometime after noon EST, the game went from working fine when launching to crashing repeatedly. I've gone through the normal steps given to old reports of this issue. Given that there are multiple reports on Steam's community tab, I assume this is a decently widespread issue.

Same here. Was able to play 2 games and then all of a sudden my game crashed and for the past 2 hours I have had the same issue trying to open the game back up.

I’m having the same issue on Series X. It gets all the way to press any button (loading bar and audio runs with graphics in the background) stops at “getting mad” and crashes black screen, no error indicator or anything, brings me back to my Xbox Home Screen.

I was able to play yesterday fine. It just happened today when I had to quit out of it because it wouldn’t let me log into EA servers. 

Not sure what the fix is but since it’s affecting so many people they should roll out their own patch rather than telling us to run diagnostics and stuff. 

Every time I press the start button in madden 23 the error codes is CE-108255-1 keeps popping up 

Same thing happen to me, I’ve done just about everything but factory reset my ps5. Only thing that seemed to work is turning off Wi-Fi but then you don’t get any of the extra features the games has. I’m not even able to play face of the franchise. Tried seeing if it was because EA came out with new user agreement but it wasn’t that because their latest was in November of 2022, and I just got the game 3 days ago. 

Mine keeps doing the same thing and I just bought 150$ of packs for MUT so annoying. Please help EA I wanted to play the game that I drop 100$ in every week. 

This honestly feels like an issue across all platforms including PC since everything sounds similar. So yours gets to the loading screen where it says stuff like "Breaking the Huddle" and just crashes, right?

My game crashes every time I try to start it up
