Madden 23 negative cap space trade issue

My friends and I are several years down the road in a connected franchise. My team is in the negative for cap space but since you cannot make trades unless that trade results in becoming positive in cap space, there are no trades even remotely fair for what I am giving up. Especially since there are only 3 trade slots. This has been an issue since Madden 22 and EA has not fixed anything. 
If I am in the negative and am making a trade to move closer to being positive, that trade should be allowed. But as it stands I am set to lose 3 X-factor players for a couple picks and nothing else to show for it. 
Please fix this EA!!!
