Madden 23 (Next Gen) Too many interception
There are too many interceptions! Almost all somewhat covered routes are caught by the CB's. This will be adjusted again? Even very good and experienced players on youtube throw one interception aft...

There's a simple fix for this... All you have to do is get better at the game. If you want an arcade game then play something else.
@The_Long_C0N That's why there's an option to use the sliders. So everyone of all skill types can try to enjoy the game. Get over yourself. The option to lower the CPU skill should be there, whether you use it or not.
@stocmic3the sliders don't work. This issue needs to get fixed. The CPU is awful and throws way too many INTs
- @FawnkyDonkeys Right. I've played every Madden for the past 10 years and this is the only Madden where turning down the sliders do absolutely nothing.
I have lowered the CPU slider to 0, I'm still throwing a minimum of 3 INTs per game, not even contested throws, a 3rd string LB 6 to 7 yards away from the WRs cut is picking me off. It's dumb. Also just because, I adjusted my slider to 100 for interception and in 3 games got 2... seems to be a huge discrepancy.
The issue is the CPU interception slider doesn’t do much like it did in the old games. Im not great at the game but normally play on all pro and I’ll throw maybe 10-15 pics a season. With this year even with the CPU sliders turned to 0 I’m still throwing 3-4 a game now. I know people say just get better. True yes but also just let the slider make more of a difference
Human throwing INTs is currently fine in the game.
CPU throwing INTs on All Pro & All Madden is what is too much. I user the D Line and my CBs led the league in INTs on All Pro because CPU QBs are braindead if they're not the top 5 guys at the position. Davis Mills is the worst CPU controlled QB in the history of Madden. He threw 4 INTs to my CBs in one half.
We as humans can get better and not throw INTs, but what we can't control (with broken sliders) is how awful the CPU is.
Screw the “get better” crowd. The game has sliders that are supposed to work so I don’t have to get better to play a remotely realistic game if football. Why don’t they say EA should get better at having working sliders?

Put it all the way to zero and still throwing 4 picks a game. DBs are making amazing catches. This isn’t about user skill level there’s a glitch
I guess you can’t read huh bozo.. they said they put the CPU INT slider to zero and they still threw 5 int’s

Anyone know if the Dev team acknowledged this issue and if it’s going to be patched in the next update? The Interception slider does nothing no matter what value it is at.
Hey!I played a game yesterday after the patch,and I dont know if they officially adressed it,but i played with the Bengals,finished the game (finally) with 0 interceptions,was playing against the packers,made some plays where Jaire Alexander could have made a couple of picks,and it seemed much better,the dbs didnt intercept any 50/50 balls like earlier, they dropped everything...So it seems they did something, or maybe I had a break,who knows...But to me,it seems like they fixed it silently
The skill based passing is good but it needs improvements. I can't direct my receivers or QB to throw and catch properly.
So supposedly there’s a patch coming out today and there’s no mention of addressing the Interception issue. Shows which crowd they cater to…
It is clear that EA isnt monitoring these forums and other forums on such a game-breaking issue.
After the patch the cpu threw 9 interceptions in one game... please fix this. I'm not that good.

less unrealistic INT’S and More batted balls and thingas of that nature,
and Kickoffs another issue and lets add in secure tackles with the X .. …. Terrible
I'm saying if the sliders worked, people can adjust the interception level to where they want. You can make it more realistic by using the slider or keep it where it is if you like this arcade style interceptionfest.
