Madden 23 (Next Gen) Too many interception
There are too many interceptions! Almost all somewhat covered routes are caught by the CB's. This will be adjusted again? Even very good and experienced players on youtube throw one interception aft...

@The_Long_C0N That's why there's an option to use the sliders. So everyone of all skill types can try to enjoy the game. Get over yourself. The option to lower the CPU skill should be there, whether you use it or not.
The issue is the CPU interception slider doesn’t do much like it did in the old games. Im not great at the game but normally play on all pro and I’ll throw maybe 10-15 pics a season. With this year even with the CPU sliders turned to 0 I’m still throwing 3-4 a game now. I know people say just get better. True yes but also just let the slider make more of a difference
Human throwing INTs is currently fine in the game.
CPU throwing INTs on All Pro & All Madden is what is too much. I user the D Line and my CBs led the league in INTs on All Pro because CPU QBs are braindead if they're not the top 5 guys at the position. Davis Mills is the worst CPU controlled QB in the history of Madden. He threw 4 INTs to my CBs in one half.
We as humans can get better and not throw INTs, but what we can't control (with broken sliders) is how awful the CPU is.
Screw the “get better” crowd. The game has sliders that are supposed to work so I don’t have to get better to play a remotely realistic game if football. Why don’t they say EA should get better at having working sliders?

I’m sure you’ve seen this extensive thread already since you’re replying in it but I figure I’ll reply to you directly in hopes of some sort of response to the issue here.
Interceptions in the game are way too common, if I throw a contested pass over 10 yards it’s about a 60/40 chance it gets picked off regardless of receiver or cornerback ratings.I even went as far as maxing out a created QB with all 99 passing stats and he’s throwing minimum 2 picks per game in simulation, typically 3-5 against any somewhat good defense. This is on a PS5 console. I’ve started to adjust to it when controlling my team but even then, throwing 5 yard dink and dunk passes all game and never being able to throw for over 300 yards in a game with Tom Brady, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones on a team is getting boring quick.
There are also a lot of convenient holding penalties or fumbles when you finally do get a big play to go through.I’ve gotten to the point where I just divide the season total interceptions by 1/4 to give a more realistic stat line lol. Please fix this so the game can be more enjoyable, I really want to be able to enjoy the new rosters and graphics updates from 22.
