Madden 23 Won't Launch

I recently purchased Madden 23 on Steam a few days ago and since installing it, I've yet to be able to get the game to launch from either Steam or EA. I've also tried troubleshooting it with multiple methods found on EA Answers HQ including:

  • Re-installing both Madden 23 AND the EA launcher multiple times (including different install locations.

  • Restarting my PC.

  • Logging out of both Steam and EA.

  • Ran system file checker.

  • Run Steam and or EA app in compatibility mode.

  • Disable anti-virus software.

  • Repairing app in app recovery.

  • Booting in Offline Mode.

  • Disabling Steam Overlay.

  • Validating game files.

  • Launching with only one monitor turned on.
  • Made sure graphics drivers were up to date.

This issue ONLY occurs with Madden 23 which I checked when booting up Apex Legends which loads and plays normally. I found a forum on the EA Answers where a user in October was having the exact same issues as me and it is yet to be solved.

Like other users, I've attached my DxDiag file and listed my PC specs below.

  • Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU X 980 @ 3.33GHz 3.33 GHz

  • NVIDIA 1050ti

  • 16GB RAM

  • Windows 10 Home

    The same thing is happening to me i was able to play for a few days but now the app wont go past the loading screen before crashing again.

    When I start the game it crashes at the loading screen but when I play offline it work normally and yes I have tried every step that I saw on other post so I don't know can I have help please

     Im in the same boat. bought the game I have 7  hours played and when I load it up and it says " click any button to continue" it loads to "breaking huddle" then it closes. No crash report or anything, I reinstalled the game have restarted my pc plenty of times and absolutely nothing has changed.

    I went to play my BRAND NEW madden game I had only played ONCE and I keep getting this error, I have went thru all the steps from Sony to reset my PS5. I STILL get this screen. I see this issue is happening to everyone, why isn’t EA fixing this.

    @dontjage me too, this just started today, i wonder if its got something to do with the EA servers, i was able to load in to the menu and it said i wasnt connected then my game crashed when i tried to open franchise

    Same issue, started today right after I bought the game off of the trial weekend. Game would freeze at "flipping the coin..." and then I tried everything in the previous posts and now it won't even launch.

    Same thing happened to me on Xbox Series X. The game crashes during the loading screen during "play like mad." 

    I went offline and the game loads, but as soon as I go back online it crashes again.

    I got madden 23 2 days ago I played for the 2 days and I went to get on the game today and I could not get past the loading screen where it says breaking huddle is anyone else having this problem
