Madden 23

Madden 23 Xbox One Version will not connect to EA servers on my Xbox Series X.

I have tried a long list of steps to resolve this. Including full power reset of modem, router, and xbox. Still will not connect.

I have also tried the below steps, what else can be attempted to resolve this issue?

Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)

- Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check Check for updates

- Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides

- Open you're Xbox NAT Type

- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)

- Persistent Storage Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage

- Alternate Mac: Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear Select restart

- In that case, would request to change Xbox privacy setting to adult to access online feature. https://support.xbox.com/en-IN/help/family-online-safety/online-safety/manage-online-safety-and-privacy-settings-xbox-one

    Possible workaround – I saw another thread where someone having a similar issue was told by EA support to try turning off account verification on their EA account as a workaround.  I tried it, and it seems to have solved the problem for now.  Give it a shot if you’re still having issues connecting to the EA servers.

    I have confirmed this issue follows my gamertag to an Xbox series S at my friends house. So it appears to be an account issue and not isolated to my internet / xbox series X.

    I'm having a similar issue.  Since Wed 6/26/2024, I cannot access any online feature on Madden 23 on PS5.  Everything was working fine before that.  I just keep getting the "In order to access the online features for this title your account on playstation network must be signed in and you must be signed in to the EA servers." message.

    I have tried a bunch of possible solutions, including power cycling PS5 and modem, uninstall/reinstall Madden 23, unlink and relink PSN and EA accounts, change DNS settings, changing every other network setting I can think of, changing passwords on EA and PSN accounts, rebuilding PS5 database in safe mode, refreshing licenses, and more.  I have talked to EA support and moderators on the EA forums multiple times and they don't have any better ideas.

    All my other online functionality works fine, even for Madden 21; only Madden 23 isn't working.  I had my friend log into my account on his PS5 on his network at his house, and he reported the same issue with Madden 23 (he can use his own account with no issues).  So, I think I can safely say this is not a problem with any settings on my PS5 or my network, but rather a problem with my EA account.  I’ve done everything I can do on my end regarding the account, so I’m out of ideas.

    This worked thank you!!

    For anyone looking to try this, you need to go to myaccount.ea.com -> security -> then turn off login verification

    I will mark resolved but we should not have to turn off an account security feature to log in to the game

    I agree - not an ideal solution.  But it sounds like EA is at least aware of the problem, so hopefully they get account verification working again soon.

    Having an issue with signing into ea servers on madden 23. My PlayStation network is signed in because I am able to play other games. But as soon as I try and log into madden is give me the error “

    In order to access the online features for this title your account on PlayStation network must be signed in and you must be signed in to EA servers.”  Really wish this issue could be resolved.
