Madden 26 what can top the “hit stick”
I recently watched the Madden documentary “It’s in the game” it gave us a true and full Madden history. I enjoyed it very much it reminded me and my father the good times of the early to mid 2000s where gaming peaked as far as the EA title “Madden” is concerned. And it made me wonder why is that well it’s simple you see. Madden is now in a forever evolving state to a tree they cannot climb. If production in this mindset and state continues. This EA title will inevitably fall. During the documentary they claimed they want the best for the fans and the gaming community but they go unrecognized to the average gamer and they fail to impress or satisfy previous players. Well as a player I can say a couple reason why they are tanking and give personal feedback for improvement.I noticed EA sometimes checks the forums for bugs and such and I hope this can be one.
during “It’s in the game” they began to obsess on the glory days and experience heavy “Deja Vu” well why isn’t Madden installed on every system anymore and why don’t people talk about it as opposed to other sports game titles like 2K or FIFA. It’s very very simple. I call it a “Lack of Evolution” if I go back and play “Madden 16” when they added user catch I feel as if I am playing a very similar game with heightened graphics and a few screen tweaks. That was almost 10 frickin years ago. Obviously there are small differences between games but nothing that sticks really. EA has expressed they want to shatter the charts and be in every gamers library. I want to relive the glory days as well so here’s how you become hall of fame nfl once more.
”Madden NFL 26” in the game is the title. Saquon Barkley backwards juke is the cover and here’s what I feel should happen. When I load up my console or PC I want to feel immersed as I am in a world named Madden not sitting in a chair playing a game looking at a screen. Well let’s see what other titles do or have done to make people stay interested. It’s simple creativity. When “Grand theft auto” went to Los santos customs and changed from paint and spray people still make new stuff. when 2K implemented the park and MyCourt that altered the game forever. Madden is a very simple game it’s a 1 dimensional experience compared to what is used to be. So they need creativity to adjust “Lack of Evolution”. For Madden 26 allow the players to see new and old things like fans in the end zone with signs, pregame tailgating and a pregame, halftime, post game and sideline reports with all the reporters they can get. Imagine a player intro screen, a sideline report with star players and coaches during a match. They can easily differentiate it from a quick play H2H match with their current layout. They can call it NFL Sunday.
NFL Sunday can have all the features that make you feel like you are really on the field making the calls. When there’s a penalty flag called I wanna see refs standing talking about the penalty not a blank and boring stadium. When it’s 3rd and inches I wanna see the sticks moved and the ball on the hash. And dang it it’s boring and simple just get to the game right. But it’s a much deeper connection then that. Now thats just general game play. I say go more. When my corner gets an interception or my defensive line gets a sack or when I get a first down. I see what appears to be chatter but I feel like patchy the pirate. “ I CAN’T HEEAR YOOU” and I mean I would love to win and see someone go down on the field and interview the most impactful player of the game. I mean imagine being able to randomly play the Super Bowl against someone and you have to watch the parade and see the players on the field Mic’d up. Which leads me back to patchy the pirate. I mean these are all great features in NFL football now so why are they not in the game about it. Let me run a few more scenarios and scratch your brain with my ideology.
new things as a player existing or old I would love for them to not only add new match play features but even rosters. imagine if you had not only current but historical teams like 2K. And even conference squads imagine if you can go online and off and engage in Conference battle. A full roster of thee best players NFC and AFC with the option of a default depth chart or a custom one adjusted and made and saved to you pregame. High scoring, high fun, high competition. It’s a video game so might as well make it a top game. I wanna see madden news where every week we get information on new things as far as in game captures and weekly event info. Give me a premade highlights of the week, put the number one ranked players on a list in a main screen for the week. It’s a lot but a season hall of fame would be a cool thing to give a goal for player. Imagine if we had a play of the week, comeback of the week or most improved. Obviously this is a lot of things but why are there so many things missing I mean these are all simple improvements that can cause a major impact. And I have more. Imagine playing Madden and everything is “In the Game”. Everything can be customized, we get ads and more. Bring the game back to reality and to a fictional place.
as far as marketing is concerned I believe we need more madden advertisement. I would love to see another NFL 100 Super Bowl ad for Madden featuring a John Madden cameo that would be amazing. I know people that quit because they got so bored of the game. I want a madden coach headset I can buy in a special edition I wanna see this game peak once more.
