I have the same issue, but on PS5. Strange thing is my son has a profile on the same PS5. If I go to his profile it works fine... he has his own EA acct, so it seems like it is related to certain EA accts as not everyone is having the issue.
So I took what you said and wanted to test it out. You are correct as I just unlinked my playstation account from my EA account and made a new EA account to link to my playstation. Upon linking the new account to my playstation account madden works for me. Really weird what's going on and something that EA needs to take a look at. For whatever reason my account was shadow banned from playing madden even though I don't play any EA games online such as Apex, Fifa, or Madden.
Sorry for the late reply, but no I did not lose any data because I made sure to back up all of the data to the cloud before deleting everything related to the game on the console. I then reloaded all of the data from the cloud onto the console except for the profile file. Then when starting up I signed in using the new EA account and all of my offline files such as franchises and rosters were fine, intact, and playable.
