Madden NFL 23 PC does not have Next Generation capabilities. Why?
Hi,
My name is Quicky, I have been a loyal consumer of Electronic Arts Sports in the form of purchases of all Madden NFL titles since 2015 (And I am sure many of you have been purchasing these games for longer). I have been doing so since 2015 because I have a deep rooted for passion for football but more importantly professional football and the narrative around it; the excitement to see which team is going to win it all, free agency, breakout players, etc. It is no secret that an overwhelming majority of the Madden NFL community feels that EA Sports has failed to deliver many core aspects of a simulation football game, but have done so at a full retail price year in and year out.
$480: A rough estimate of how much money I have spent on Electronic Art Sports' Madden NFL titles, not including Ultimate Team purchases or re-purchases of the game on different platforms as I have bought some games as recently as Madden NFL 21 on multiple platforms.
927.6 Hours: The amount of hours I have spent playing Electronic Art Sports' Madden NFL 21 and Madden NFL 22 on my Personal Computer, not including the countless hours I spent playing Madden NFL 21 on my PlayStation 4. The hours equivalent to about 38 days. (Hours logged across the platforms Steam and Origin)
My question is very simple: as a consistent loyal customer of Electronic Art Sports', why does this company neglect me as a customer and gamer by completely ignoring me and many others by not only neglecting to add Next Generation features to Madden NFL 22 but now charging me an additional $60 to play Madden NFL 23 that is NEARLY an exact copy of its predecessor. If there is anything that can be answered can it be what did I do to deserve this neglect?
