I mean really, at this point these plays are COMPLETELY UNUSABLE at this point. At roughly a 90% clip you're gonna end up moving your QB directly into the edge pressure.
Wanna know why folks just run shotgun plays all day?
Well, the running game (while improved) is inconsistent, you can STILL get away with shutting down the run from nickel/dime/dollar so long as you blitz, and the play action game is a non factor from pass pro (or lack thereof) to the underneath coverage NEVER biting on the play fakes.
Like I said in the beginning. Just come out and say "we want everyone to run their offense in the shotgun".
I have had both Lamar Jackson and MIchael Vick and with both soon as I start to roll out, the AI Defense breaks free and chases them both down. Cause in reality everyone knows a neither of those players ever outran 300 lb linemen.
