Okay, I think I got this figured out, for others who may be having problems getting the Field Pass objectives completed that launched today (Thursday 6/29/23).
There are two North Division releases today (AFC + NFC). Each Division has 4 teams (eventually that will be 32 teams, I'm assuming it's the first pick in this past draft for each team).
It takes 2 X 98 Heroes to complete one of the EIGHT Rookie Premiere players that dropped today (again -- AFC/NFC North, eight players). I did a few of the non 99 OVR Sets to satisfy the Field Pass sets objectives and ended up with multiple 98 OVR Heroes (Dorance Armstrong RE for example). If you plug those two 98s into one of the eight 99 OVR RP sets, not including the Steve Smith Redzone Royale set, or the Kyle Hamilton Redzone Royale set) , you will get one of the eight rookies that are required to complete the Field Pass objectives.... The OP mentyioned Zay Flowers,the player that I found in the eight AFC/NFC North 99's that dropped today...
I'm assuming if you get the Zay Flowers and put him on your team and start cranking out yards, tackles, points and Solo Battle wins, the FP objectives will start being met....
Sigh, I hate to use my 2 x 98 Heroes to get a player I don't actually want or need, I'd wait until the NFC East and get the Cowboys player, but I also hate going a few weeks letting all these stats I'm wracking up go to waste.
FYI: if you're looking for specific positions, here are the rookies that dropped today by position: Darnell Wright RT, Lukas Van Ness LOLB, Jahmyr Gibbs HB, Jay Ward FS, Dawand Jones RT, Darnelll Washington TE, Zay Flowers WR (mentioned in OPs message) and DJ Turner CB.
All are 99 OVR Golds, all are from AFC or NFC North Teams, and (big assumption) hopefully they satisfy the Field Pass objectives that showed up today....

Season 5 Field Pass featured some (vaguely) named token "RP 32 Team Chem" item... These will plug into any of the Rookie Premiere players and brand them to your team of choice...
I just completed the CB so I could start doing the Field Pass objectives, figuring I could go back in 2-3 weeks and grab the Cowboys first draft pick when he drops... Well, this AFC/NFC north Corner Back has a second item which I apparently earned early on along the way to level 31 Field Pass, one that lets me convert this AFC/NFC North player to any of the 32 teams in the NFL.

Imagine how hard it would have been for EA to simply post this info when they release the program. Should be on a card in game or a readme text file that is in our RP section under items AND on their websites, social media crap, forums etc.
Why is it difficult to get clear explanations on this stuff? They could even put out vids explaining it if they refuse to assign the staff needed to put it out in web form. The fact it even requires us to mention this and you and others have to spend hours figuring out this is a just another indication of why this license needs to be open to more companies or a different one.
They need to get community people involved ( as a paid position) with the devs etc to sort this out.
Sigh.
