Madden19 PC DirectX-Error

Hey,

im always getting DirectX error in Franchise. Here is what it looks like:

DirectX Error

Device Removed Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG, DirectX function 'DX11 Renderer::tryMap' failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

(something about the Driver installment) Nvidia 1080Ti: 41163

I did everything reinstalled the game, reinstalled DirectX, cleared origin Cache. I checked the system and dxdiag, nothing wrong. Played other games, nothing wrong. I changed some settings in the nvidia panel. Maybe thats the reason idk?

The weird thing is i played it without any troubles for the last weeks. Dont know what to do now and need help.

Check for any recent Windows Updates that may be causing this issue.

Look for updates that were installed since you last were able to play without a problem and uninstall that(those).

You can always install those updates again at a later time if you want/need to.

Thx for the reply barry. Yeah i also thought this a problem caused by an update (origin, windows or nvidia).  But i noticed this error only with Madden 19 and other people have this error too, saw this in the EVGA forum. So did you (EA) contacted Microsoft about this issue? Thanks.

    Ok here.

Could it be this>Nvidia says ist Windows 10 issue: (Geforce GTX 1080Ti) Random DPC watchdog violation error when using multiple gpus on Motherboard with PLX chips

    ?

Seeing as you are not using multiple GPUs (SLI), I do no think that is related to your issue.

You do have Bluscreens and Windows crashes in your Dxdiag so the following steps should be attempted before contacting your hardware manufacturer for help.

I tried everything now Barry. Reinstalled Windows 10, updatet Bios, used Driver Updater, set Intel Card to off... Still the same issue.

I checked the dump files with WhoCrashed, here is what i got:

     Crash dump directories:
    C:\WINDOWS
    C:\WINDOWS\Minidump

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 416.16 , NVIDIA Corporation).
Google query: nvlddmkm.sys NVIDIA Corporation KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION

I know the following is counter intuitive but could you try using older video drivers, maybe the 399.xx or 398.xx ones?

    Thank you.

    @dirtybirdmagic

There is not a specific compatibility issue with that GPU. Have you tried the above troubleshooting steps?

    Thanks.
