In Madden23 Franchise mode off=line after only eight seasons it says Hire OC yet None is provided to Hire and I cannot proceed to the next Season. Help!

Easy fix.. just go to USER Teams and become COACH of a New Team your choice, then go to Staffs and FIRE the OC then Go back to Your TEAM and HIRE the Fired OC> Your welcome.
Ive been playing in franchise mode for going on my 8th season now. When I started the 9th and it tells you to hire a OC. It doesnt put any avail options in the list to hire so now I cant move forward in the game because anytime I try to play week 1 it takes me right back to I need to hire a OC to proceed!!! Is there a fix to this problem or am I just screwed and can no longer play the game in franchise mode?
