MLB The Show: Franchise Mode Stats
Half of the fun in baseball is being able to track a players performance throughout the season. Batting average, home runs, RBIs….. this was my first time purchasing the show and (for the most part) I have really enjoyed the franchise mode in the game.
With that said, the game does a HORRIBLE job at tracking statistics. Whether it be a starter who pitched 7 scoreless innings, or an outfielder who had a multi home run game, it makes it incredibly unsatisfying to see the post game graphic display incorrect stats, often showing that the starter pitched 0 innings, and that position players only had one at bat.
For example I have hit a ton of homers with Eloy Jimenez in my latest save, but since none of them are being tracked, when I go to his season total it says he has hit one or two…..
this is incredibly unsatisfying and seems to be something that should be a bare minimum for a next-gen $70 title….
it’s absolutely mind numbing how this issue could even happen… and it needs to be fixed.
