MUT Solo Challenges - Co op Matchmaking Issue

A buddy and I have been running into an issue with MUT solo challenges since the first day of early release. Certain programs (All Madden, Campus Heroes, and Team Captains) will not allow us to play the challenges in co op. It takes us to a matchmaking screen like it is searching for a third person to join us. We just want to play in co op, not match make for a third person.

Other programs like Headliners works fine with no issues This is just very disappointing as this is just one of our favorite ways to play Madden together. 

Any update on this would be appreciated and I can answer any questions needed to help identify the bug.
