No Injuries PS4 H2H Madden 18

I am playing H2H madden 18 on PS4 but so far since the game came out neither me or the friends that I am playing on line has had an injured players on either side of the ball. I can tell that some of the hits would be injuries because they lay down shaking there heads. also except for off sides or passing the line of scrimmage there are never any other penalties called, especially face mask. is there anything i can do to correct this I contacted EA sports but other than them saying there maybe a bug in the game they couldn't help me.
