[Offline Franchise] saved game doesn't load

This was an issue last year and there's a thread for M22 with over 390 posts about thus issue and it was never fixed last year and shipped with the same bug this year.  The real problem is that a year later people are still trying to figure out what the formula is that actually causes this.  Many people think it's loading custom classes but no one is really sure what the conditions are that create this bug...not even the people tasked with fixing it.  There is another thread on here started by Jboss titled offline franchise not loading file corrupted, or something to that affect.

I was 15 years into a Franchise and it just stopped working. Literally Broke my heart. This has been a continued problem for me.

I spent 20 seasons moving as many teams around as i could to make a new league and when i tried to login in this morning to play my new league i got the same bug

Horrible, not even mad, as I blame myself for purchasing this garbage knowing full well I was buying the exact same garbage as last year...  With that said, lost 4 franchises in '22, and just lost a save in '23 after 4 seasons.  Been multiple posts about this every year, that keep getting marked "Solved".  Shame that EA has been ignoring this since at least Madden '21, and keep dubbing every year as "year of the franchise"...  C'mon already EA, can we get a workable franchise mode already?

Just happened to me last night. Won my wildcard game 62-10 and while the ending of the game is loading it boots me out to xbox homepage. I load up madden again and when i go to franchise my file does not load. Absolutely ridiculous. There is a reason i did not purchase 21 or 22. I will be requesting refund for madden 23 and will not be purchasing any other EA sports game. EA sports is a monopoly and like every one it will fall in due time. 

I had this same problem today. I wanted to play a version with a new generation of players so I simulated forward 10 years (PS4; offline franchise). I played until about week 8 and when I finished that game the game cancelled and reported an error. When I tried to log back in the file was corrupted and I was unable to continue that franchise. I created a new one and did the same but had multiple saves this time. Again, it worked until week 8 and then corrupted my file again. Luckily with the other saves I was able to continue, but the same thing happened so I ended up simulating the next couple of games. I didn’t want to simulate the wildcard game so I played it and at the end of the game it crashed and this time it corrupted all of my files. Huge waste of time and money. C’mon EA, I’d rather have you release a few quality games than release a ton of buggy games and I think everyone agrees. I’m about to buy Maximum Football even though it’s garbage because I can at least actually save my game.

This same issue just happened to me in Madden 22 last week, 25 years into a franchise and the game file gets corrupted. I get Madden 23, get 10 years into franchise and I get a corrupted file. Leave it to EA to make the same * game again and again with the same game breaking bugs with no fix for them. This is the last straw for me buying Madden until it is taken out of EA's hands.
