For context to everyone new to this game breaking bug - it has been present since Madden 21! and carried through to 22 and now it seems to 23 also.
Really? I didn't experience this bug until Madden 22. Do you think it's an Xbox thing?
- @ChuckysRatHole Madden 21 actually started crashing after one of the last updates for that title from what I heard from some people. I know Madden 19 had this issue but it was fixed halfway through its cycle.
And no PlayStation and PC has the same issue from what I can tell. - @ChuckysRatHole No on all platforms. I’m on PlayStation and had it with 21.
Does anyone know if this issues also affects online franchises? I greatly prefer being offline but if online are not having this I would consider going that route. It's just feels like if this issue was gonna be resolved it already would have by now.

Year 5 late mid-season with the lions around week 15.
Madden update.
Tried to load and couldn't.

Back to the darn work arounds.
If I don't import a draft class for 2023 how far can I go?
I can usually make it to about 2035 without getting crazy.
To get this far I do the follow:
- Avoid creating/retiring new teams or adding new users mid season
- Avoid adding or editing draft classes
- Avoid retiring the first user team
- Start avoiding the coaching perks screen around 2027. (this is due to the coach shortage)
I lost a file I started to play seriously around 2035 when I went to the coaches perk screen. There was one coaching position unfilled mid season and when I tried to fill it there were no options to hire. Once I exited that screen it crashed my game and back up files. After that I said... Nah no more of this. Outside of that most of my crashes occurred around 2027 and during the "end game" selection of the super bowl or playoffs.
I'd do another write up, but I don't have the spare time I had a few months ago and I already see that one of my write ups and play throughs have been pasted here on this post.
Hopefully NCAA Football is built from the ground up and has a solid Offline Dynasty mode and a weak MUT set up. I really want a good single player college football game. Please don't copy this spaghetti code mess. Not that my voice will be heard. It would be great to just skip a year for madden and rebuild the whole thing as well to go along side NCAA football.
