[PC] RTX 3070 Lagging/FPS Drops

Hi,

I just recently replaced my GTX 1070 OC with an RTX 3070 and I found that Madden 21 is suddenly having significant FPS drops and lagging. I have tested the GPU with other games and found absolutely no issues running the highest settings. I retained the exact same graphics settings from my previous built and it still caused me issues. I tried switching DirectX from 11 to 12, and back, no change. I also tried running it in windowed mode and full screen. I have reduced crowd quality to no effect. I had a similar issue with Sims 4 (game running perfectly for a about 10 seconds before it slowed down, FPS dropped, and it lagged) until I placed it in windowed mode.

I have already performed a clean uninstall of the drivers and installed them again. I have repaired the game and still nothing changed. I will also point out that, while watching GPU-Z, the load on the highest settings never seemed to surpass 30% and the GPU remained at base clock because it appeared to believe itself idle. The same is not true of non-EA games, whose use shows a thorough use of the GPU's capabilities, despite being older games with less graphical details.
