Playaction Pass defense should work like this.

Ya know how we have the ability to change our defensive coaching strategy for option plays? For example, you can select Aggressive if you want your defensive players to always attack the QB and ignore the running back or the pitch man.

Well we need the exact same thing for play action passing.

The options would look something like this:

Aggressive - Ignore the running backs and rush directly to the QB. This will generate the best pass rush. This is risky because players may leave their run fits in pursuit of the QB. Especially if they have a contain assignment! Which can open up more running lanes and make the defense overly susceptible to counters, screens and draws. But the benefit is that designed roll outs should be neutralized.

Balanced - Uses the players Play Recognition skill vs. the QB's play action skill to determine if the RB or the QB is the target. If you're playing against a QB with a high PA skill then you're probably going to have about a 50% chance of disrupting counters, screens, and draws, without exceptional user play. However, you're not doomed to see the exact same plays work against you endlessly just because someone called a counter, screen, or draw. In the end the results will probably even out. You win some you lose some.

Conservative - Ignores the QB and plays the run fit to stop the running back. This is your best chance to take away the run, and sniff out counters, screens, and draws. But it comes at the cost of opening up the play-action passing game to where your defensive backs and linebackers may get sucked up into the line leaving their man or area wide open. NOTE: This absolutely has to apply to the user as well.

Love to see this for M24.
