Playing the yard vs my friends

EA please add this u litterally make the same madden every year this is all I want just to play against my friends and crossplay would be cool

You can now play with your friends via today's update!

The Yard Updates:

New Feature: Yard Play-A-Friend.
By popular demand, you can now play against your friends in The Yard.

How it works:
0) Select the Play-A-Friend tile in The Yard hub.
1) Pick a venue and party size and build out your party as you normally would.
2) Make sure to tell your friend’s team what venue and party size they should select.
3) At the prompt, both party leaders set the same matchmaking password. This can be anything you want, just make sure you both enter it exactly the same.
4) … (Magic of the internet happens here)
5) Play against your friend and make sure they know you are better than them.

NOTE: You won’t earn progression from Play-A-Friend games.

So me and my friend play on PS4 have a problem everytime we play the yard. Some game modes will work and load us into the game but as soon as we beat a part one either him or I get kicked.
Sometime in the loading screen one of us gets stuck on the countdown while the other loads in.

We even had an issue that it will turn the whole screen black. 
it is very annoying and needs to be address.

Also when I play by myself it sometimes bring an unknown issue error if the game works and there are multiple parts I would complete the first one and it would automatically fail the second part which makes me not complete the whole challenge.

My friends and I are playing on PC.

My friends and I cannot play several events on The Yard together. The events that do not work properly are Giannis, Geiger, and Champions of Chunky (it is especially weird since it is not exclusively older events nor is it exclusively newer events). Whenever we try to play one of those events, it allows each of us to ready up and then nothing happens. From each person's perspective, it will not display that the others have readied up, and it will remain stuck like that indefinitely. We have to each leave the lobby and rehost to get out of being stuck on that screen. This happens every single time we load up one of those bugged events in multiplayer. We can each play all of those events perfectly fine in singleplayer. We are also all able to play other events in The Yard in multiplayer, largely without issue. But when we try to run those particular events as a group, it does not work. 

How can we fix this and play those events as a group?

I’ve been having the same problem and it kicks me out after the countdown to start the game.
