Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a franchise mode; sign players to practice squad; play a few games, or even jump forward a season and observe the 0-1 overall growth of practice squad players when they are signed to the roster due to the absence of bonus & goal XP.
What happens when the bug occurs? Young players, robbed of a couple of years of their prime growing age range (21-25), are permanently stunted, making the practice squad more of a penalty than a boon.
What do you expect to see? Progression, player development, fun.
