PS4 - Wrong controller mapping in NFS Unbound

Game: NFS Unbound

Controller: PS4

System: PC (Windows 11)

Launcher: Steam, EA, EA App Recovery

No matter what I do (controller settings, different launcher), the game always mapps the controller wrong! Square is left trigger, circle is right trigger...
