The longest I have sat before quiting out of the game and trying over again and playing the game over again was 15 min. And it still just had the screen of the video I submitted below. Yup been happening to some of us since the start of early access. They say it's a known issue no eta on a fix. Just to deal with it.

@EA_Kent Sorry if speaking out of turn but I don't believe there's any error message displayed. After you click the end game button the loading screen (Madden 22 logo) just stays on an infinite loop.As I mentioned on a different post on this thread the issue seems related to the memory. I cleared my PS5 cache and stop facing the issue.

UPDATE!!Between the few games I was able to complete without the freeze/loop and the ones I couldn’t I noticed that during the game if the presentation became wonky (say ref took ages to call the penalty, end of qtr cut scene showed no players and just the ball on the last dead spot, etc.) the freeze happened. If the presentation flowed smooth then no freeze/loop.This made me wonder if the issue could be related to some memory overload. It seems it is as I cleared my PS5 cache and boom next game went smooth!!! To clear PS5 cache turn it completely off an unplug for 5mins.Note: just one game sample on cloud franchise, haven’t tested offline and 2 not sure how many games before the issue happens again. We’ll update back with more findings as I learn more.

Summarize your bug After doing a slow Sim game. The game will not get past the loading screen after a game. Please fix this as last year this was an issue as well. Will never buy another madden if this isn't fixed in a timely manner.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Supersim a franchise game in both cloud or offline modes. Game will not progress beyond loading screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? Games is stuck at loading screen. Forcing to quit the game.
What do you expect to see? To progress to end of week screen to progress in season

I am having same issue if I score 35 pts it stops loading animations in game and then you can't get past load screen at end.

I am having the same problem. Have tried playing my first preseason game 3 different times. I even deleted my file and downloaded it again with no luck. Every time I hit “finish game” it gets stuck trying to get back to the main menu. I’m frustrated!!!! Paid extra for early access and this is what we get? An unplayable offline franchise mode? Inexcusable!!!

I still am having the same issue just finished my game at 9:06pm cst 8/18/21 still not loading out of the game getting the same madden screen over and over have waited 4min prior to yet again having to close out of the game and play it over again. I have played this same game 5 times now with no different result between update 1.02 and now again on update 1.03

Playing on PS5. I have played the Steelers second preseason game against the Lions 3 times. Each time after completing game shows loading madden screen and will not continue. Have to close the game completely and restart. Upon restart game hasn't registered as played and must be done again. Is there a fix for this?

I have deleted all my files and redid it all. Played the same preseason game several times over 5 different franchises. There is no update as to win this will be fixed. I spoke to a chat representative who told just play mut until this gets fixed. Now I paid 20 extra to play early and your suggestion is play a pay to win mode until you fix the mode I enjoy. This is unacceptable and there is no update to this issue anywhere.

Franchise mode I can’t even play. After a game the loading screen to main menu messed up not allowing me back to main franchise screen so there’s no save point to proceed. I’ve reinstalled game to get same issues. Also noticed after 1st half game play is slow.

I’m having the same issue. I can’t get past the first preseason game. I bought the Dynasty edition and haven’t been able to play offline Franchise Mode because of this. 3 days and counting. Even fully deleted the file today hoping a fresh download might help. Nope! Currently been watching the Madden screen it gets stuck on after trying to get back to main screen…at least 15 minutes now. Pissed off! This is what I paid extra for?
