PS5 Lag

Online modes are unplayable! The lag is awful! The game pauses and then speeds up causing picks and missed kick. Seeing as though this game has completely moved away from an offline experience, it makes the purchase an absolute waste of money

    Hi there, @Haefoc 

    Thanks for reaching out about this. Let's go through some connection troubleshooting and see if we can get this improved. First, are you on a wired or wireless connection? Also, has it been a while since you power cycled your equipment? If so, try doing it now with these steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not.

    Did this just start happening or has it been going on for a while? Also, are you on a wired or wireless connection?

    Thanks for the response. Can you switch to a wired connection or is your router too far away?

    That's going to the issue then. As long as you remain on a wireless connection, disconnects and lag will happen. You may want to look in to a powerline adaptor. That's been a good solution for others in the same situation. If that's not possible, make sure you're on a 5G connection. Also, in your router settings, put your console on its own wireless channel. These may help, but you won't have as stable a connection on wireless as you would wired.

    @EA_Aljo Thats not the issue I downloaded the PS4 version no lag same with nhl23 PS4 version no lag only the PS5 version lags

    As a test, can you move within a wire's reach of a TV and see if there's a difference?
