Resetting the password for your EA account with these steps http://bit.ly/Reset_EA_Password should clear this error up for you and allow you to access your games again.

However, if you can no longer access the email associated with your EA account to reset your password, you'll want to contact our account recovery team instead here http://bit.ly/EA_Contact_Us to see if the team can help you restore access to your account.

  • I can access my email just fine and have reset my password multiple times each time with a new password....still when i try to log onto Battlefield 2042 i get this reset error prompt even thoigh i have paid £110 for the ultimate edition or whateber its called giving early access to the beta.

    I have also deleted and redownloaded the beta all to no avail...the EA website help is anything but. Please can you update as to a solution to this.

    Have you found a solution to this issue at all? Ive had the same problem with all my EA Games too!.. so annoying. no matter how many times i try reseting the password, I get the same error.

    I've been in touch with EA support multiple times (still no answer or fix has been provided) but all I get is an email from a different associate every day wanting me to share the same info over and over again...

    I have the same exact problem but the lady on the phone said she couldnt help me. The game keeps sending reset passwords to my email from when I was 12 and since that account is different she couldn't help. Kinda sucks I paid for a game and they won't even let me play it. 

  • Please tell me why we have to restore our account access in the first place.  Also, I’ve reset my password and nothing happens.  This is extremely frustrating.  I changed my associated email through XBox, changed my password several times, and to no avail.  I just want to play MUT, but at this point, I think I’m returning the game. 

  • Also, earning badges from EA Support is more like a slap in the face.  I don’t want a skimmer badge, I want a solution.

    @JDFarina02 Im also having this issue! I just bought the game today and what do ya know I can’t play it! Like others I’ve tried everything I’ve also reset my password like 5 times! We need a resolution to this problem otherwise you will lose hundreds of thousands of loyal gamers! This is wrong! You have my money but all I have is a migraine from trying to fix what’s obviously not on my end!

    I have literally done everything you’ve said and it’s still asking me to reset. What’s the point anyway? I’m about to return this dumpster fire of a game anyway.

    Can you please put out a fix for it? I've reset my password literally 100 times.. are your servers just unplugged or what? I can't imagine this is a profitable experience losing hundreds of customers due to bug in your services platform...

    Yeah.. this problem still persists. This should be submitted to a higher tier of tech support. The fix initially provided in this thread no longer works.

    For reference I am trying to play Grid Legends on PS5.

    Click on the EA Help link provided and navigate your way to message or text an employee or assistant something of that sort. Apparently it's likely because your entire account expired. I did this and they got me back in order off to play Battlefield 4 mwahahahaaa
