Re: Account wrongfully banned
Today I received an email from EA -
BECAUSE YOUR ACCOUNT WAS INVOLVED IN COIN DISTRIBUTION (SENDING), WE’VE REMOVED ALL COINS FROM YOUR ACCOUNT AND PERMANENTLY BANNED YOUR ACCESS TO THE AUCTION HOUSE AND TRADE BLOCK.
First of all, I have never bought or sold coins, or had any transactions that even remotely look like coin sales.
To make matters worse, when I load the game up, I can no longer enter the menu's to play even offline modes. I have not just had my coins removed and auction house suspended, I seem to be banned from the game entirely.
I am not the only one with this issue, there is a tonne of people posting here, all over Youtube and reddit.
I know there are many posts about this already but still no acknowledgement from EA. It seems to be impossible to contact them and cases opened are just marked as "Fixed".
I urge anyone with this issue to ask for a refund for madden 20 madden 21 (Sorry I get confused since the game is identical just more broken) from Microsoft / Sony to at least highlight the issue to them and the way EA are treating their paying customers. Microsoft seem to be already offering refunds, unsure on Sony at this stage.
P.S - Community Managers if you respond to this post with a link to an article of how we can dispute this ban I'm going to explode. We cannot dispute it since your customer support is awful and does not respond, or barely speaks English for that matter via live chat.
How about doing something useful and raising the issue to the appropriate department?
