Re: Can’t snap ball

I don't have anything plugged into the usb slot, and I deleted and re-installed the game and still got the same result

    @XCountry715 

    Which platform do you play on and are you installing the game on an external hard drive? If it's external, unplug it and make sure any Madden files located on the internal are deleted. Insert the external and delete Madden. Unplug the external and install the game on the internal hard drive. 

    I've seen some random issues happen with some external hard drives, so I'm not sure if it could be related to that as a possibility. Have you tried power cycling?

    PS4:

    Power Cycle

    1. Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
    2. Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.

    Xbox One:

    Power Cycle the Console

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    1. Plug the console power cable back in.
    2. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    I play on Xbox 1 and the game is being installed on the xbox itself, not any external hard drive

    Strange bug you have here....

    When you go to your Xbox Settings do you have the latest software update and check the same thing for your controllers.

    It could be a corrupted save file for your profile. Go to My Games & Apps>Highlight Madden 20>press Start>Manage Game>Delete saved game data (local AND cloud). Try re-launching the game and see if your new Face of the Franchise does it.

    I tried deleting all the save files and no change. Still can't snap or do anything pre-snap. Controller isnt the issue. Works fine for any other game. Only mode that I can snap is the skills training. No other mode will snap

    I merged a couple posts together. Did any of you figure out what's causing this?

    Are any of you able to snap the ball on a different Gamertag/PSN ID to see if it's account specific?

    If you can toss us a recorded clip of this happening in this thread we'll get it passed along to the team to investigate. Please include your Gamertag/PSN/Origin ID along with the mode(s) you're experiencing it in.

    It was a controller issue in my instance. Working fine after getting a new DualShock 

    Updating thread with solution from @elaurant01 

    Paired an Xbox one controller to the Xbox series x, it did an update and the wheel was gone. now all other controllers work now.

    I have did so much to try and fix it and nothing seems to work, could it be my Xbox one scuf since I play on Xbox series S? I have no other issues on other games

    @OpTicVenomz Have you tried using a different controller and checked which Gamertags the controllers are assigned to?
