I'm afraid not. The team has this logged but we have not heard of any immediate developments around this. We'll continue to let them know it's impacting Franchise players.
Have the same issue but only happens with the Smash Pass Concept Drill. All other training drills seem to work fine.

Is this happening for the same drill for others here? If you can list the drills here it's impacting you on that info can be valuable to the team.
@EA_BlueberrySame exact issue. Smash Pass Concept Drill as a Franchise QB. It bugs out at varying times. Sometimes after the first pass, sometimes after the 4th, but it always does. Once it bugs out and does the camera thing all you can do is either restart or quit.
My personal suspicion is that the problem is caused by one specific play being bugged. Since it is random which play you get each rep, that explains why it is always bugging but not always on the same rep.
The most painful thing for me is when you get the first 4 passes all complete and you go to do fifth rep only to stop dead unplayable.
EDIT: The same issue just happened with the practice PA Power O Drill.
Same issue with me on several drills. Most recent was the practice PA Power O as well.
I'm playing Franchise, with a QB (Houston Texans), 2nd season. As a previous commenter said, it's definitely happening more often in season 2 than in season 1. One thing I just noticed on the last couple of tries is that it looks like one or two players are running off the field to the training center while the camera pans around. Could it be a simulated injury and then there's not enough players to line up any more?

Does anyone happen to have any recorded footage of this prior to it happening? It can be helpful for our testers to understand what is causing this to happen. If you can get any footage of you navigating the Franchise menu before playing your reps and let us know what type of Franchise it is (offline/cloud, fantasy/custom roster/real life roster) that can be helpful to the team.

Insane this still hasn’t been fixed, almost a year after it was identified.
i just experienced my save files for offline franchise corrupting (4 files in the span of 1.5 months) and just started a new offline franchise as the player QB role for the Seahawks… and the very first week of practice i can’t do anything beyond the first play. smash concept practice let’s me run one play before showing off the seahawks facility on a sky cam.
honestly it’s so discouraging bc it makes me think they’re gonna leave issue in the game 1. so they can focus on m23 (duh) but also 2. so there’s more reason for us to buy the new game… nah guess i’ll have to reinstall and wait for m23 to go on ea play…

Yeah, this is why everyone gets on EA... This happened in 21 and 22 and still no fix. They act like you're 'seeing things' with EA's responses.
It happens approx 80% of the time you manually weekly practice and the only way to keep playing your franchise is to sim the damn practices. 2 versions of Madden LOL.
EDIT: If you just let it sit there long enough it will start the next play from the sky cam and all you can see are the play design lines all the players are invisible.
Honestly, why bother with this franchise anymore they've proven to not care about their customers. They'll wait till Madden 24 to fix it and push it as a selling point to get us to buy the new one.
same. played like 11 games no problem in training. Again playing as QB. Smash pass drill concept training. Camera bugs out after successful play and keep panning around the field, sometimes snapping back to an empty lineup and the ball being lobbed in the middle after being hiked.
