Re: Has anyone been banned recently on madden 21? they took away my whole mut tab ..

Ea_barry what is the solution then because sending one case hasn’t worked either so how is it that we get y’all to see and solve our cases if y’all never follow up on them ive paid to much money to ea buy points and buying the game itself for me to not be able to play and for y’all to expect us to not be upset is unfair to us a costumers we need solutions ASAP or I just want my money back

Yep.  Happened at 3:30 and 4:30 in the morning on December 5th.  My Series X was back at Microsoft getting serviced---attached is the PDF with my invoice----so I didn't have a console from Nov. 27th to Dec. 8th and yet somehow I got permabanned.  Have bought at least 20 years worth of Madden, with the exception of this year, have played MUT and spent significant money (at least to me) on packs since Madden 15.  Have never had a warning or a ban in all that time.  Didn't farm or trade stuff over or buy coins.  I guess this company no longer wants a long time customer.

  • Everything you just said, is exactly what happened this morning at 6:30am. For my account and my daughters account! Spent a lot of money doing it the RIGHT way. And the best they can do is 7 days!!??? Not right. Even the gentleman I spoke to from EAhelp said I have an immaculate record!! And my daughter wouldn’t no how to cheat or have any reason too!

@Frankie62470 7 days? I’ll be very surprised if you get a response that quick. I’m at 8 weeks and still waiting...
  • @stalhill The gentleman that I spoke to about MY account, said 72 hours! He saw nothing that would lead to a ban! He even said I’ve been a member since the first madden and my record is immaculate! I see people on here waiting since October!! The only advice I can give you is DONT MAKE A NEW CASE!! That just removes the original and puts you at the end of the line!

@Frankie62470 My case went in on 13 October, admittedly for the first few weeks I was raising other cases to keep on the pressure but the last time my original and still open case was touched was 1st November.

@Frankie62470 I had the same conversation sadly. My account had no sanctions, customer could not see any reason why my access to AH was being denied.
They also said 72 hours. It’s now nearly 6 weeks if you exclude the duplicate cases as you say.
  • I like the game. Have no issues with it. I’m 50 years old and make a good living. So I spend money buying points. If this takes more than 2 days? Then they will lose a great customer! They don’t want that. I’ve had issues before, not a banning issue, but other things that were resolved quickly! What bothers me is the non warning! If my daughter and I were cheating? We should have gotten warnings! Barry should agree on that! @@Blueberry

@Frankie62470 I’ve said the same Frankie. I’m 45 and make a good living with good disposable income. I have 3 kids too, so lots of custom for EA to aim for.
But sadly they still don’t respond quick enough. It’s terrible customer service.
  • @stalhill It’s a shame. It’s 2020! Things like this shouldn’t take more than a phone call! They look up your account, check your day to day, and make a decision! Putting people in the same line for different issues sadly makes this a longer process!
  • @stalhill I just went a searched my emails. I received a warning back in 2018. I remember it was because I sniped a card for a ridiculous amount. They saw it as farming. I trade cards with my daughter all the time. She loves the giants, so whenever I have extras I trade her! You can’t auction a card after it’s traded anyway, so it’s not a coin making method, nor is it farming!! Both accounts spend money! I’ve never farmed before, and I’m not even aware of how or why! But if I was farming? Would I be spending all this money to risk losing everything? I don’t even play head to head!! So how am I cheating? I’ve earned/bought in auction, every card in the game! That includes BOTH ACCOUNTS! My daughter uses the same payment method!

@Frankie62470I've certainly never had a warning from EA (except for a polite forum one today regards a post deletion) and haven't played Madden consistently (I played I think Madden 13, then got back in to Madden 19 and 20) but I did have a similar experience with one of the Ltd Edition cards before my "ban" - managed to buy one of the 250k quick sells for about 100k, couldn't believe my luck that it was there and I grabbed it before anyone else. I wonder if thats related to this??

@rjwil73 So this exact scenario happened to me. Down to the time and everything. Never "farmed" or any of that nonsense. At 4:18am on 12/5 i received the Ban Notice. Perhaps it was a system wide glitch. If thats's the case, it should be resolved swiftly.

@CarlJoonya Well then check your email account.  If you are like the rest of us, you got a Cheating ban today.  Bunch of crap.  There's another post where basically everyone got a cheating email today, even though we haven't been able to log into our accounts for online play.  The post is now temporarily locked because no one at EA support knows the appropriate way to challenge the bans.  Do we make two cases? Don't we?  EA at it's finest.

Basically, I'm assuming EA is just covering themselves since the email they sent took away the whole game and not the auction, plus we were demanding specific instances to how this happened, what transaction triggered this.  Since we said this, and the original email said Auction House ban and not total ban from all games except their "excellent" offline franchise mode, they are covering for themselves.  The cheating ban now says "Banned for all online modes." Plus it is way easier for them defend, while we know that D.C. glitching happens all the time and that sometimes you get the win after the opponent D.C. glitched you, I suspect they will say look at that 0-0 win you have, you must have cheated and ignore the 10 or so times that you lost 0-0.

The mods might not like that answer, but that truly is what is looks like to me.

  • @rjwil73 I will also be interested to see if something has happened on my case. Been catching up on all the posts here and in the big one (now locked) over in Game information
Seems like EA have been busy now sending emails out from ‘MADDEN SECURITY’ and even telling players ‘no one likes a cheater’ and it’s caused all manner of upset.
My situation seems unchanged right now, I was wrongfully banned 12 Oct, no email from EA. I opened a case (multiple ones initially) but received no reply. It looks like 26 Nov EA interacted with my case (date stamp) but I don’t know what exactly. Then soon after my ban was gone. Oh and still no email.

I’m still here voicing concerns about the whole thing, I’ve not received any apology and no restitution for lost progress, awards, tokens etc.

I’ve checked my email again thoroughly and cannot locate any further emails from Ea, but I did notice my still open case now carries a date stamp 11 December so EA have again been looking at my case.

I haven’t played Madden for a few days, since this experience has tarnished Madden for me I play it probably less than 10% as much as I used to before. So anyway, sure I will get chance to login later and will be able to find out if I have also been caught up in this latest FUBAR situation.

@stalhill Yeah. I doubt I'll play it at all until this is resolved. I've mentioned it before but my only other account on the game is level 6. So obviously, I wasn't farming. I have never bought a card that was overpriced unless the market dictated--and the cards I bought were the lowest on the auction house under the buy now tab....or sold one for more than the market dictated. I don't use the auction app, but I have done the GAP method for coins and posted a bunch for resale--once again at what the market dictated. Can their algorithm tell that a 68 Brandon Cooks power up was going for over 60k at one time? Or that Culpepper's 50 power up that was going for 300k is a specific card and not your normal 76 overall or whatever it starts out at? I have no idea.

What I do know is I am not a bot, have not D.C. glitched anyone, or cheated the game in anyway. Heck many of my games that I was being blown out in, I've waited until either half was over or the game was, so could exit the game without shutting the console off because you can only get to the exit screen one time per half---poor design on EA's part, I understand limiting it, but it should have been twice per half, once so you can set your lineup, and once you can concede if losing.

Anyway, I'm not giving up until I get answers, but I will be playing 2k in between checking these posts and my case status.
