Re: How to play online in different ways

In MUT there are several ways to play H2H:

  1. if you want to play with your lineup, H2H Seasons are the most common way. you will face opponents based on a match-making algorithm taking into account your skills (but frankly, you will have to accept that the range of opponents in terms of skills and team strength will be very broad). if you win 7 games in 'regular season', you qualify for the playoffs (and you could win the Super Bowl with 4 more wins). as soon as you lose 4 games, the event is over. the good thing here is that you do not have an entry fee and you can advance to a higher ligue (with higher rewards, but you can also demote again if you do not have enough wins).
  2. you could also play Salary Cap (to be found in the 'H2H Seasons' tab too). the Salary Cap limits the team strength and therefore you cannot play with a team with the highest OVR available at the moment. depending on how much you invest in starting money, you will get a little more or less rewards depending on how many games you win in a row. once you lose once or win 6 wins in a row, you will be settled.
  3. you could also play Draft mode. in this mode, you will have about 20 draft rounds to build your lineup for one event. the more wins you get in a row, the better the rewards. if you lose, you are out. similarly to the Salary Cap mode, there are two different entry fees with different reward schemes.
  4. finally, in Squads you can play jointly with one or two teammates against 2 or 3 other players. the lineup of your team will be build from the lineups of two players (the offense from player 1 and the defense from player 2). the Squads Season is similar to H2H Seasons.

if you want to play H2H with NFL teams, you could chose between online franchise or H2H (in the Exhibition tab). but I'm not very familiar with these modes since I only play offline franchise...

I hope that helps. have fun!
