Re: Linking EA and Twitch Prime

Hey @MasTeR_MoRaliTy,

I apologize if you aren't getting a response on your end, I will say to not concentrate on what other players have to say about companies in these situations, the loudest people aren't always those who are right. I've seen a few people come back and confirm that they got a response from Twitch on my end too. I would also like to add that, we wouldn't have been able to build the too for delinking your twitch/EA account without Twitch's cooperation either.

Thanks,

Roger;

    Maybe Twitch and/or EA should have made it where the user had to specify which gamertag they wanted to associate with the Twitch Prime loot giveaway but that makes too much sense and it's too easy...

    I'm sure plenty of people have heard back from Twitch. I mean technically I heard back from them and they say to contact EA... and EA says to contact Twitch. Typical EA not caring about the customer... which is why they had to buy exclusive NFL rights so 2K sports doesn't demolish the entire EA sports department of EA. As they have with NBA. If EA truly cared about their customers they could easily give away some free points for buying a GOAT or a few packs to at least show they care when the issue never gets resolved.

    Hey @abc1571964808,

    I understand how this appears from your perspective however as it is an EA promotion we have to link it with the EA account and not Microsoft or Sony's accounts, which is on a completely separate platform.

    @MasTeR_MoRaliTy, can you confirm that you tried to use the self-service tool to delink your account on your end after linking the wrong account and still ran into the issue?

    Thanks,

    Roger.

    Hey Roger,

    I followed your instruction on this thread a few times with no luck. My Twitch settings show EA connected and it's connected to the right EA account etc. I can post a screen shot if you want? Just not sure what more I can do. I'm obviously showing frustration on this forumn because I'm a dedicated and avid Madden player... so to miss out on great free items really sucks.

    Yeah my twitch account shows that I am connected to EA and twitch prime loot. I have tried delinking my accounts for the hell of it but it didn't work for me. Maybe it's just not meant to be lol idek anymore. I'm just sick of stressing over this especially since the Reggie expires tomorrow too. I couldn't imagine logging in to ultimate team and seeing 2 new packs in my unopened packs and opening the menu to see 2 twitch prime loot drops

    I feel like I'm getting ignored completely with the ridiculous responses I've been getting. With my specific case a red box appears that says the Amazon account currently linked to this twitch account has already claimed this officer with a different twitch account. I've tried EVERYTHING NUMEROUS times!

    Been trying to fix this issue for a week now, same issues.

    When going HERE to link accounts it gives this error

    {"error":"invalid_request"}

    when I go to settings/connections in twitch says I'm connected to EA so I wait a few days and no loot online. I decide to unlink/relink while stilling getting the same invalid_request error. After a few days of EA telling me I need to contact Twitch and then Twitch telling me to contact EA..... I then get a email telling me that Disconnecting Electronic Arts from your Twitch account in your Twitch Connection Settings won’t unlink your accounts and to follow these steps to do it correctly.

    I follow the steps to unlink and this is the message I receive:

    "Please log in with an EA Account thats linked to Twitch"

    I'm stuck now... I tried going to MUThead stated before but that didn't seem to help. Please Help?

    I FIXED IT!! You have to delete your other EA account that you linked it to then change your email to the same email that that account was then link everything it just worked for me!

    When I go to unlink my EA account it tells me it's not linked to any twitch account. So i go into my twitch setting and disconnect the EA account. And then when it ry to link my accounts again, same problem as before. Multiple emails to both EA and Twitch all replied back to with the same generic response telling me to go through the same process again.
  • Same issue. Didnt have any problems till ea switched an old email to a new email. When they did that everything wouldnt link up.

    Tincher-

    Are you sure we should see Twitch when signed into are EA account? I only see my EA account connected to my Xbox Live gamertag when signed into my EA account.

    Could a EA employee please confirm whether or not we should be seeing Twitch as "connected" when at the home pag of our EA account.

    Thanks
