Are you still having some trouble connecting to the servers? There hasn't been any downtime aside from scheduled maintenance we have for a short period of time on Thursdays. 

Here are some basic steps I recommend first. Let me know if they don't work.

Reboot the power to the modem/router

  1. Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.

How to power cycle your Xbox console:

  1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
  2. Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

  1. Plug the console power cable back in.
  2. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Clear Mac Address

  1. Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.

    Hi, thanks for providing all the help you do!

    I am also having this same exact issue. When i play offline, I never have a problem in game play. However, when i play on (exhibition, online franchise, MUT, etc.), early into each game, I always get an error stating "You must be signed in to Xbox Live and the EA servers in order to access the online features of this title. Please check you Ethernet cable. You will be unable to access any online features until you sign int to Xbox Live and the EA servers again."

    This being said, I don't have any connection problems on any other game so I know that it is something with the EA servers.

    I tried clearing the MAC address, restarted my xbox, as well as unplugging the router.

    I use WiFi for internet and as I stated previously, I don't have any problems on any other game.

    @dizzybananas 

    Do you have Xbox Live Gold and/or playing it via game share? (Setting console as home)

    Are you able to test to see if you can connect to our servers by going wired with an Ethernet cable to see if we can pinpoint a potential issue with the WiFi connection?

    @EA_Blueberry I have wired connection and have reinstalled the game it worked for a couple of hours and then same server connection issues.

    @Sloppy210 Just to be clear so we have all bases covered, did you try all the steps from the two replies I posted above?
