Did this just start happening or has it been going on for a while? Also, are you on a wired or wireless connection?

That's going to the issue then. As long as you remain on a wireless connection, disconnects and lag will happen. You may want to look in to a powerline adaptor. That's been a good solution for others in the same situation. If that's not possible, make sure you're on a 5G connection. Also, in your router settings, put your console on its own wireless channel. These may help, but you won't have as stable a connection on wireless as you would wired.

@EA_Aljo Thats not the issue I downloaded the PS4 version no lag same with nhl23 PS4 version no lag only the PS5 version lags

As a test, can you move within a wire's reach of a TV and see if there's a difference?
