Re: Team Disappearing and Playbooks not working

PS4. It's not the roster as I've seen on some posts. It's a roster that I've used for awhile. It's just one particular franchise that continually does that everytime I play a game. It only happens on offense that my players will not be on the field and I can't play and have to quit. As far as the wildcat formation. It doesn't matter if it's exhibition or franchise. Every other formation, set, and play that I choose is there. But wildcat never is. I'm not over the limit on plays, sets, or formations either.

I just started a new franchise with a different roster. Although it waited until the 4th quarter, I came out on offense and no team on the field.

Hmm, gotcha. It's only happening when you're using a custom playbook?

I haven't tried it without custom playbook. I only play franchise. I've tried a couple of franchises and the same thing keeps happening with the players disappearing. The playbook not having the wildcat formation is all of the time. I've removed the formation, put it back in. I can never choose it while playing. That has been a problem ever since I've had Madden 20. The players disappearing thing is new. It only started happening in the last 2-3 weeks.

I appreciate the updates. I'm wondering if this is actually an issue with the game data itself. When you have a chance could you try uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that helps? I know it can be time consuming, but if you could give it a shot I would really appreciate it.

I can try. I won't lose my game saves will I? And I bought and downloaded it from the psn store. How will I go about redownloading it without buying it again?

I uninstalled and reinstalled. Still have the same 2 problems. Offensive players disappearing and I can't play. When my players disappear all of my plays disappear also. I can click formations, but no plays. If o go to coach suggestions, plays are there, but when I pick one and go to the field, no offensive players. It never happens on defense, and it's random when it will happen in a game. Sometimes 1st drive, sometimes 3rd drive, sometimes 4th quarter. I'm also still having an unrelated issue where I choose wildcat in my create a playbook, but it's never available when I play a game.

I don't know if it's related to anything, but my game will also no longer automatically login, despite the fact that my ps4 automatically logs into the pan. It has always logged in before. In general the login and no offensive players is something I've only encountered since the last update. The message says.

In order to access the online features for this title your account on Playstation Network must be signed in and you must be signed in on the EA servers.

This is also a new thing that I've only encountered since the newest update.

Are you still getting that same error when you're trying to log in? It looks like the servers are up and running, so if you're still seeing the same error there might be a connectivity issue we need to address. 

The best place to start would be with the basic connectivity troubleshooting steps over at the EA Help website. If you're still having trouble after that check out the PS4-specific steps as well. Let me know how it goes when you can.
