Re: Your account has been denied access to this feature.

My access got denied again today. All I did before get my access blocked, was buy 3 "Zero Chill Away Uniforms".  I answered all puzzles correctly. I only have 180k in coins right now.  This morning I had $124k in coins.  The thought process of blocking people's access to an app, for using the app, as it's intended to be used, is epic circular logic, and just, is not good customer service.   Please let me know if there is anything you can do to assist, getting me unblocked.  Thanks.

    We're not able to disclose why access is revoked for a short period of time outside of the importance to protect the in game economy from potential exploits. I'm sorry you were restricted access again and we'll share your experiences with the team for future development around companion apps. In regards of lifting a suspension or ban, our forum staff and Support do not have any access to doing this. Players must wait out the time if it was due to puzzle verifications.

    Thanks for prompt response. I can assure that every time I have been blocked, it was not for answering the puzzle incorrectly. I answered it correctly. It appears that just using the app gets you banned. I see users "spend" 800k coins for a silver and they don't get blocked. It is concerning that the system blocks me arbitrarily and someone like yourself who wants to help, is prohibiting from doing so. I do appreciate your sharing my experience with the team. If you do find out anything that can help, let me know.

    The app blocked me again. Now for the 4th time.

    All I tried to do was sell my raiders stadium. How bad does it need to get for EA to acknowledge that the app security doesn’t work and needs to be fixed? Or provide tech support with ways to remove the block? At no time have I ever violated EA rules and yet EA is going out of there to make this a less than positive experience with me. EA also blocks me from filing a complaint to management which is probably how the EA management can be so oblivious. 

    this is getting ridiculous even for EA standards. EA is so bad to their paying customers that there is an expression “I just got EA’d”.

    Good question. I don’t know, could be consider similar. 

    It blocked on Friday when I bought zero chill jerseys. Sunday it blocked me when I clicked on my raiders stadium. I sold a raiders jersey for 4800 coins, which the market rate.  When it sold, I bought a couple more with training in the store and sold them for the same price. Then I gold blocked. I don’t see how this is market manipulation. I have never done coin distribution. I have single account and have never bought or sold coins. I putchased the MVP edition and have put in about $15 on packs. I am legendary reward level.  I just use the coins to build my team.

     If there are rules I don’t know about please do clarify, so that I can avoid these headaches in the future.

    @EA_Blueberry Please don't answer a question with a question. What are the rules? Show me on the EA website where I violated the rules.

    This could be a situation where your account is being flagged as a potential bot until checks are done. I know this can be inconvenient, but could be necessary in order to protect the entire in-game economy for the whole community.

    I ask you that question because it could be information to pass along to the team. If I can understand why you're going that route, it can help determine if there is a setting the team needs to adjust from their end. 

    I do not work for the Madden security team nor Terms of Service, thus I can really only relay the information I feel can help put us both on the right path to find a solution to this.

    The rules are vague and prescriptive in nature and don't provide players with sufficient clarity.   

    I am sorry if I got a bid defensive.  I had training and I needed coins because I needed a new QB.  I wouldn't have even needed a QB, except the developers nerfed my UL powered up 99 Brett Farve, so now he can't "hit the broad side of barn with his passes."  That really makes me feel cheated, especially after, I used like 800k worth of coins on him.   I didn't feel like doing the Training Variety pack, because I am married with kids and only have a short period of time that I get to play on the xbox.  With those packs, I may also not get the players I need for my team and then you'll be asking me the same question, "why did you use training to buy a pack just to sell it?" I also sold players I didn't want to sell like Antonio Cromartie UL LTD and Edge LTD.  The Madden Companion app was a way that without spending a lot of time in front of the TV, I could keep up with the community and build up my team.   

    I used to spend more money on Madden packs, but the experience this year has been so terrible for me, it just doesn't feel right to keep opening up my wallet for EA. 

    As you have been the technical support manager, who, has been most helpful to me, I would hope you would understand my dis-satisfaction  with the game, to a lesser extent, and to a greater extent EA's policies, which rarely seem to consider what is best for the customer.

    If EA needs to verify that someone is not a bot, have an automated phone call, text message or email that requires the player to respond.  Or EA could acquire security software from CISCO, which is far more advanced, reliable and not intrusive to customers.

    Thank you for the details! I'll get those passed along. 

    In terms of having someone overlook your specific account, there is unfortunately not much we can do to set certain exceptions for an individual and these details would be more geared as feedback towards the development/security teams. There have been cases in the past where certain transactions on the store resulted in an infinite amount of coins because of a loop. The team was quick to jump on that and want to ensure this wasn't a similar case. Are you moving really quick tapping at a fast rate? I'm wondering if the puzzle is about to load up but because of the speed it gets tapped out by accident. 

    I'm sure it's frustrating from your end though, I used to be a primary free to play player where I spent very little cash on the mode and grinded the auction house like crazy. I was a top ranked player on the leaderboards one season by working the auction. So I understand how it is critical to your game. I also recommend reaching out to Terms of Service team to relay these details to them in a case so they can also be aware of how it's affecting your account, just to have it on record.

    I appreciate your considerate response.  I just yesterday, got blocked for the 5th time.  Up until roughly a month ago, this had not happened to me even once, in one year of use.  This must be from an "update/" to the app security.  Since this update, it also spams the authentication.   I encourage you and EA to read the reviews of the Madden 21 Companion App, in the Apple App store, as they have been consistently negative over the past month.  Prior to the past month the App was 2.5 stars, lately 1 star.  It is absolutely clear to me that just from using the app actively, no matter how accurate you respond to the puzzles the account gets temporarily blocked.  As we have discussed, I have a single account and have only used the app to upgrade my team, as it used to be convenient, as I only get so much Xbox screen time.
