Receivers won't catch passes

Ever since the most recent title update, something in the receiving mechanics must've gotten messed up. At least 80% of the time my receiver goes to make a catch with contact, he drops the ball. For arguments sake, I made my catch 99, catch in traffic 99, and maxed out receiver catch in the gameplay sliders, and the same thing keeps happening. This wasn't an issue before. I get it, no receiver catches every ball, especially when there is contact. But when you have a star receiver, they should catch more than 20% of the balls when there is contact. Unless I have a player wide open, I can't really even throw it to them, because there is almost no chance of them catching it. That defeats the entire purpose of playing it I can only throw to wide open players, because they don't get wide open all of the time. If anyone else is having or noticing this issue, I would love some input. I've tried DeAndre Hopkins, Juju Smith-Schuster, George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey. It doesn't matter who I use, or what their stats are. And on a side note, it's the complete opposite for the cpu, they catch 75-80% of balls when there is contact, no matter who their receiver is. I just played the Chiefs, who have top receivers kn Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hill. The majority of their catches had contact, many times a hit stick, and those 2 dropped no passes. I just want when I use a star player to have them be able to actually catch the football. Ive also just used regular catch, run after catch, possession catch, and aggressive catch. It doesn't matter.
