Referees
Whenever anyone plays a game of Madden NFL, referees never appear on the field.
I looked at the closed beta notes, and the dev team said that referees are high on the game's priority list.

I have also noticed that there are no referees out on the field like there are in real football game. I think it would be much better if they had those referees out there on the field during the flags and all of that stuff. But that's just my opinion.

I completely agree with you its time to put them back in the game for purposes like this in the video. Referees and a detailed challenge system go hand & hand.
