I've been "searching" for 30 minutes straight. Can't back out of the screen and it won't give me the pop-up for "would you like to continue searching."
My internet connection is open and always has full bars. I unplugged everything, every peripheral and anything connected to the console. Let it sit for 20 minutes and I still get the same problem over and over and over. I fail to see how EA could pawn this problem off on my end and not be full of *.
I feel your pain brother. It's a shame because the only way to get out of the search screen is the quit the game on XBOX1. I don't understand why EA has a message board if they're not going to read the messages. I just down loaded COD, I'm done with Madden until it's patched. It's so frustrating check out my post. And you'll see why I'm done.
Community ManagerMadden 16 has a new matchmaking system that keeps you competing against people who play similar to you. The initial search finds players with similar play styles. If a comparable player is not found, the search extends to additional players. This can increase the expected matchmaking time.
