Server error offline franchise

Minutes to go hammering the Eagles with HUGE stats the game said I had been disconnected from EA servers and all game stats will not be recorded. WTF! This is offline. And I had HUGE numbers. All lost. Un * believable. Almost irritated enough to throw the console. This * is unacceptable. I was only able to take pics. But now I lose the XP the players would have leveled up with.
